The Pennsylvania Pattern

 

The Pennsylvania pattern reflects the long connection between Welsh weaving traditions and the journeys Welsh people made across the Atlantic. Its name points towards Pennsylvania, a region shaped by generations of Welsh settlement, where skills, traditions and tastes were carried from Wales and woven into new communities.

A less familiar Welsh tapestry design, the Pennsylvania pattern is recognised for its distinctive geometric motifs and traditional woven structure. Its story is a reminder that Welsh cloth was never confined to Wales, it travelled, was traded and became part of a wider textile heritage.

 

Woven from 100% wool, our Pennsylvania blankets are warm, breathable and naturally insulating, making them perfect for adding comfort, texture and character to your home. Each blanket is carefully crafted from cloth by skilled weavers, creating a piece that celebrates heritage while being made for everyday living.

Returns & Refunds

• Returns accepted within 30 days in unused, original condition with tags & packaging.

• Returns must include your order details and be sent to:
  The Warehouse, Station Rd, Llandeilo, Wales SA19 6NG, UK

• Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

• Faulty or incorrect items must be reported within 7 days.

• Refunds are processed within 10 days of receiving the return.

• We currently do not accept exchanges.

We dispatch orders Wednesday to Saturday (excluding UK Bank Holidays). Orders placed by 3 PM will be processed within 5 working days. Heavier items may be shipped in multiple parcels or via courier. If Royal Mail is unavailable, we may use an alternative courier.

Orders ship from the UK. Delivery times vary, and customs fees may apply. Buyers are responsible for any import duties, customs charges, or local taxes. We are not liable for customs delays or external disruptions. Refused deliveries due to customs fees will not be refunded unless returned to us.

At the moment, we do not ship to the EU, Northern Ireland, and select countries (full list available on request).

Please Note: These items are individually hand-cut and sewn, therefor slight variations are to be expected. Please allow a tolerance of approximately ±5cm in the overall dimensions.
