OUR SHOP

The Warehouse was originally built as the local Farmers’ Cooperative, playing an important role in the agricultural life of the community. Today, the ground floor is home to Dinefwr Blankets, where you’ll find our collection of traditional Welsh blankets, woollen homewares and clothing.

THE WORKSHOP

One of the building’s most fascinating original features is its covered cart entrance, where horses could back directly inside to unload produce under shelter. Today, the top floor is home to our working workshop, where our skilled team cut and sew Welsh blankets into a range of products.

THE EXHIBITION SPACE

We’ve carefully restored the building while preserving many of its original features and character. Also on the top floor, our small exhibition space explores the history of Welsh blankets, the story of this historic building and the traditional craftsmanship that continues here today.

Based in historic Llandeilo, our guided talk explores the history, craftsmanship and symbolism of traditional Welsh blankets, with an opportunity to see original vintage blankets and finished pieces up close. A relaxed and authentic experience for visitors looking to learn more about the history of the patterns.
