A beautifully balanced Pennsylvania colourway in dusky blue, black, grey and off-white. Inspired by a historic Welsh blanket design, this reversible double-weave blanket combines strong pattern with understated colour. Made from 100% wool, it brings warmth, texture and a distinctive piece of Welsh textile heritage to the home. Each blanket is unique, with slight variations possible because many of our pieces are handmade. Extra Large and Large sizes are made to order.

The Pennsylvania pattern is often described as rarer than the most familiar Welsh tapestry motifs, and its name points west, towards the journeys Welsh people made across the Atlantic. Welsh emigration carried skills, tastes, and textile traditions abroad, and some writers note clear visual kinship between Welsh tapestry geometry and North American folk textiles in regions with strong Welsh settlement.

The pattern itself has been described as developed for a North American blanket trader, with the name Pennsylvania reflecting those long connections. It is a reminder that Welsh cloth was never only local to Wales, it travelled, it was traded, and it helped shape other traditions.

Returns accepted within 30 days in unused, original condition with tags & packaging.

Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

Faulty or incorrect items must be reported within 7 days.

Refunds are processed within 10 days of receiving the return.

We currently do not accept exchanges.
We dispatch orders Wednesday to Saturday (excluding UK Bank Holidays). Orders placed by 3 PM will be processed within 5 working days. Heavier items may be shipped in multiple parcels or via courier. If Royal Mail is unavailable, we may use an alternative courier.

International Shipping:
Orders ship from the UK. Delivery times vary, and customs fees may apply. Buyers are responsible for any import duties, customs charges, or local taxes. We are not liable for customs delays or external disruptions. Refused deliveries due to customs fees will not be refunded unless returned to us.
